This restaurant has become our "go to" when we want to stay close by the house but want to be guaranteed delicious food. Their mezze selections, particularly the dips, are always a favorite, as is the octopus. The roasted sea bass is my favorite main - cooked absolutely perfectly. The outside setting is beautiful and very popular. The wait staff are helpful yet unobtrusive. So glad they're here!

Food and service was delicious! A bit expensive but worth it. The ali nazik is good however if ur a big guy you will be hungry. The bayti was on point! Loved it!!
(5)Matt K.
Very good out-side seating. Very good traditional food. Very good service. Reasonable prices. THANK YOU ...
(5)Sofia K.
I was incredibly cautious trying Turkish food the first time but this place really has amazing food and such wonderful service. We tried Turkish beer, recommended by the server and was delish! Really smooth great for the meal We had the lamb shishkabobs, chicken shishkabobs, and the lamb chops. Absolutely the best was the lamb shishkabobs !!! Enjoy!
(5)Sujay S.
Food was amazing. Try the ezme, and the zucchini pancakes. They exploded in a medley of flavors in the mouth. We also ordered a lentil soup, which was filling and delicious, and a Florida Special cocktail, which was the strongest cocktail I have had to date in Miami! Needless to say, we left the restaurant pretty happy. The servers are friendly and polite, and the restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area that should be fun when the weather is nice.
(5)Harshad H.
Good Turkish food. Ali Nazli was all gone in few minutes!! That beef, lamb chunks and veggies in yougurt and eggplant sauce on a skillet was a perfect combination of flavor and taste. We had mix appetizers with Turkish bread. The location is quite and relaxing after a long hectic day. Go try!
(5)Steve L.
Valet Parking - Babylon lost our keys... Extremely loud music sitting near speaker - We lost ability to have conversation..... Sadly we can't recommend this restaurant
(1)Intrepid S.
I love this place, the food and ambience are equally impressive. I had the lamb chops, delicious! My boyfriend had the chicken shish kebab, very juicy and tender. We will definitely be back!

The fact that I was not thinking of stoping for dinner at this place. First because SoBe has too many options good and bad. You never know what you get into. Secondary because of it's in a rough area of SoBe. I was a walk in after my daily workout, no reservations where necessary. It's casual dinning nice and relaxed ambiance. The gentleman who addressed me at door was very attentive and had great customer skills. His name was Oner, he made the place welcoming and was very inviting. Witch is very rare in Miami ! My server also presented her self in a proper way. I asked for recommendations about menu and suggestions. I started my dinner with a super chilled glass of Pinot Grigio and feta cheese plater. My main course was grilled sea bream with a spring salad. The fish had great aroma from spices and flavor was great. Not preserved by freezing, canning, pickling, salting, drying, etc. My encounter with restaurant was pleasant and I'll be back at any given moment.
(5)Yasut Y.
Food and service was amazing. I ordered izgara kofte. It was delicious. Others in our party ordered beyti. It was very delicious but little bit on the spicy side. Outside patio is great to sit down and spent a night with family.
(5)Enrique A D.
Great food outstanding service!! Great belly dancer after 8:00pm .Onir was the best waiter ever, very professional
(5)Nauman B.
Turkish isn't the first food comes to mind when in Miami beach. With all the amazing Cuban and other sea food restaurants in walking distance one can't be blamed anyways but if you want to spice up your taste buds and as we all do get bored with the same old Miami beach eateries then Babylon is definitely your food heaven. The ambiance is very friendly without compromising on style. It captures the true essence of Turkish culture through its minimalist decor and mouth watering flavors. The patio is where I'd recommend anyone to dine, not to say that their indoor seating isn't good but the trees, hangings and the melody of air blowing just adds even further to the experience. My food recommendations; the hummus and taziki sauce for appetizers followed by Chicken Shish kebabs and Beyti for main course and of course a Turkish meal isn't complete without their scrumptious Kanafeh.
(5)Fikret S.
The best Turkish place on the beach, probably whole miami.. great food that tastes exactly same as it is in Turkey. Deserts are amazing. And i would highly recommend eat the desert named kunefe!!
(5)Ryan U.
Sammie our waiter was amazing , good was good, who we didn't like was the manager Marcelo, he was a dick
(3)Cynthia W.
Love this hidden gem. Had my birthday there and they were so good. Great service and great food...And we had fun with the belly dancer.
(5)Danny O.
This is the best Turkish restaurant in Miami! The food is amazing and the service was excellent as well. We were taken care of in a private back room for a birthday party and we had a great time. They even brought us a guitar singer to entertain our party.
(5)François P.
Amazong place! Had the Sea Bass was amazing, and also a red blend from Turkey! Come back here definetly. Thanks to ONER for his great service
(5)Jonah K.
Came by for lunch while I was waiting for my scooter to get fixed. I had been meaning to swing by here, and the timing worked out. The place is very nice, with a wonderful outdoor patio. There wasn't anyone here during lunch (but it filled in later). The service was good for the most part, but I had to ask for things multiple times. I ordered the zucchini pancakes which were okay, the yogurt sauce needed some work. The Beyti was my main course. Overall the Beyti wasn't that great, the meat nor the sauce was super flavorful. It had a good amount of heat to it which was good. The prices here were quite high, lunch for 1 with a bottle of sparkling water was over $30.

Stanning athmosphere and Turkish Coffee.we tried chicken soup, haydari, ali nazik and babylon salad were perfect.we enjoyed in this place.i hope you guys like all Turkish foods overhere.
(5)Rocco M.
My favorite place in Miami. Not a crazy "scene" here. You can come as you are and have the freshest vegetables and meat you will find in Miami. Fresh and delicious, and I recommend EVERYTHING on the menu.
(5)Audrey M.
First off, let me tell you I will definitely be returning.. here's why. -The ambiance was very romantic with white lights hanging from the trees outside.. My fav! ;) -The food was fresh, homemade, and seasoned to perfection. I honestly found myself wanting to say, "Mmm!" after EVERY bite! Haha.. -The experience overall was so fun! On the weekends, they have a tasteful belly dancer that dances to traditional Turkish music. Don't worry ladies, my man took a picture too! :P hahaa.. If those aren't enough reasons... The part that stood out to me especially... was that I found regulars singing along to the music and later was personally visited by the managers... In my eyes, it's shocking that a restaurant on Miami Beach can still be as personal, if not MORE personal then your local restaurant you may visit more often. My man definitely won some brownie points with this night out... Have fun!
(5)Richard B.
My girlfriend and I are locals and like to try different places around our area. We've walked past the Babylon restaurant a couple of times and finally decided to check it out. To begin with, our server Sammy was extremely inattentive and stand off-ish! He had no interest in taking care of my girlfriend and I, which is unfortunate because we are great tippers when the service is good/great! Food was good but overall a bit over priced! I do have to say that if you do decide to come here. I suggest the octopus appetizer. That app was the highlight of the meal! Over all, won't be coming to spend my money here!
(2)Alli M.
This place was awesome! We had a 13 person dinner here and everyone was so nice, the belly dancer was fab, and the food was amazing!!!! They accommodated 2 of our party who are gluten free, and were so gracious and nice! The table setting was perfect for a big group as well, we could all see and hear each other which was great. Highly recommend!!!
(5)Salman A.
In south beach area, looking for a nice middle eastern restaurant and stumbled upon a true gem. Nice outdoor seating, good ambience with music. Food is just awesome, tried Ali nazik (egg plant with yoghurt + lamb) and lamb skewer with rice and fried tomatoes. 5 stars for the taste of the food. We skipped the traditional tea and dessert due to lack of time. Will definitely visit again
(5)Nawar A.
The food is delicious and the people very friendly. They add $ 16 to the check as Gratuity although they mentioned into the check "Gratuity is not included" !!!! Meaning that they are taking it by force and at the end of the check receipt they mentioned Suggested Tip: 15%: $ 15.30 Total : $ 126.48 18%: $ 18.36 Total : $ 129.54 and so on... !!!!
(4)Lu M.
Delicious Turkish restaurant in the heart of South Beach. Delicious food and great ambiance! Good prices !
(5)Paul M.
This place has great food and amazing service. The food is authentic and delicious. We got the sea bass and lamb kabob. Our waiter that night was attentive, helpful and nice. So friendly and the best server I have had in Miami. I loved the outdoor garden seating area. Will definitely go back again and recommend to everyone!
(5)Jake O.
Amazing. Foods amazing, ambiance is amazing, service is amazing. Highly recommended and very affordable.
(5)Mike M.
We literarily stumbled across this place. It's a block behind the south beach strip where all restaurants are pretty much shitty and you pay to sit the people walk by. Babylon has a beautiful secluded garden. Great staff members, amazing food and also a belly dancer! Food quality was A+. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.
(5)Lelo B.
I just enjoyed an amazing meal here. The food is authentic, fresh and sublime. The staff is incredibly kind and polite. Enjoyed sitting on the patio, and even though it is on a fairly busy street, it is very quiet and relaxing. I will go back there often. Try the Baklava....sinful!
(5)Cristina D.
Where do I start? The food here is absolutely delicious! I've been a few times already and every time is wonderful. The workers are friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly. Best of all it's all fresh. My personal favorite is the icli kofte. They are these fried meat and walnut filled balls of deliciousness with spicy sauce on the side. The tomato soup is good and so it the watermelon salad. The garden outside is my unique with all the beautiful details that will make you feel like you are in Turkey.

My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting the rehearsal/welcome dinner here during our wedding weekend in Miami where we live (May, 2015). From the initial meeting with the owner Orhan, we knew this would be the perfect place! We had been here before and always enjoyed the food and service and the outside terrace is just magical in the evening. We ended up having 160 people which was Babylon's biggest private party yet (I think by a good amount!) but the space worked perfectly and the food quality and service did not waiver. I brought in flowers and they supplied the microphone for speeches (and a crowd pleasing belly dancer!) which worked out wonderfully. If you are looking for a space to host an private event/dinner or just a yummy spot to eat with great atmosphere I highly recommend this place!
(5)theFOOD E.
I went here with my brother and our girlfriends. Let me tell you that this place was great. The ambiance and mood was chill and romantic. With just the right amount of excitement from the live music and belly dancing we were left entertained but with the ability to have a great conversation. The Turkish food was great tasting and quality, but what really made the experience memorable was the service. Our waiter, Oner, was Turkish and phenomenal. He was the perfect mix of formal service while being humorous and energetic. He made our experience great! And this is why we requested him to be our server the second time as well. Looking forward to another visit soon. Hope Oner will he taking care of is again!
(5)Oskar T.
I LOVE THIS PLACE...the food was amazing, the patio is lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive to you. The decor...I love want to copy the main dining room decor in my next house....! Will def. come back and bring friends...
(5)Adisa K.
Babylon served us the best Mediterranean food in Miami Beach. The lentil soup, liver appetizer, and iced tea offered a mix of unique flavors perfectly blended. The patio seating provided a welcome refuge from the hustle and bustle of Washington St. The service was impeccable.
(5)Crystal M.
Ordered the tatziki, turkish chorizo, mixed grill, and mixed dessert. BOMB.COM! The staff were all very attentive and had the best stories. Seriously a must if you're looking for something yummy and out of the ordinary. I will definitely be coming back here when I come back to Miami. Big shout out to our waiter and the manager for making it a memorable experience.
(5)Larry C.
What a great TASTE these guys care and they want to PLEASE Their mixed GRILL IS TO KILL FOR Fair prices Wonderful service Great tastes Larry Colin
(5)Suzan S.
We spent 3 days in Miami and went to 3 Turkish restaurants. Atmosphere + Food + Service = Babylon! it was fabulous!
(5)Lily F.
Our waitress Deniz was absolutely fantastic, the service is great and the food is very good, i highly recommand this place if you are in Miami and love Turkish Food.
(5)KC C.
Love love love this place... The food is so delicious and the atmosphere is really nice. It's not the typical south beach prices and it is very authentic Mediterranean food. I had the chicken kabobs and I could have eaten that for days! My friend got the lamb and also delicious. We ordered the Turkish house liquor which was perfection and the Turkish sampler. The hummus was sooo delicious. Ill definitely be back
(5)Jacob B.
Fantastic ambience, there's traffic bustle, but who cares? Beautifully decorative and the wait staff is quite friendly and accommodating. The manager is a great guy who always checks in on you and cares about your patronage. The Dumas was spectacular, and the yogurt it came with was a perfect complement to everything else at the table. We ordered family style and got the lamb and chicken shish. The lamb was bursting with flavor, and the the chicken was melt in your mouth good. This is an oasis away from the overrated food off the beach. Do yourself a favor and walk up two block to this must try.
(5)Stefano P.
Ate here last night with a few friends and it was a great experience. The food is amazing, the atmosphere out in the garden area is fantastic and the belly dancer was to die for. Easy to get to right off the bridge coming into the beach. The server was extremely attentive and zealous and did not leave us for anything. We had the hummus, the cold eggplant appetizer, the hallucinating and the mixed grill. For dessert we had tea and mixed desserts and it was exquisite.
(5)Sharie V.
Food was excellent! atmosphere very nice. Our waiter Oner was GREAT! and attended to our every need. Definitely recommend going!
(4)Tina T.
After a few too many days of rich, fried foots we were in search of a flavorful, but lighter fare. Babylon did not disappoint. For starters the outdoor patio is romantic and we were quickly greeted by attentive staff. The salads were incredibly fresh bursting with ripe tomatoes. We also shared the dolmas and zucchini pancakes. The dolmas were particularly flavorful and not overly packed with rice (in a good way). We were too full for dessert but wished we weren't.
(5)Serdar B.
We came here for dinner. Nice ambiance. Great turkish food. We had adana kebabs, choban salad, arnavut ciger and icli koftes. The food is delicious. The service is perfect. It was a great experience.
(5)A P.
Two reasons took down a star: Octopus was undercooked and smelled fishy One of the turkish waiters always has this 'pissed' look on his face. On the positives: House wine good, hefty portion and attractively priced. Good bread and oil. Tasty ground lamb kebab
(3)Kyriakos P.
Exceptional food with a great environment and very good service. Octopus and beyti are my fave!
(5)Chris R.
Great atmosphere both inside and garden area outside. The service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced and authentic. My lamp was over cooked but I still give it a 4 star.
(4)Keren B.
The waitress (ana) was really sweet the octopus was big tender and perfect I'm ten and never saw octopus like that nor have I ever tasted octopus like this one I also ate the whole thing. The tentacle was about 10''. I would love to come again.
(5)Michel Tanjos C.
The cold appetizers was fantastic And the entres tasted very good , especially the chicken. Nice atmosphere // Tanjos
(4)Cetin K.
I've been in south beach for almost a week now, this is the only place I will eat from now on. Tried bunch of different restaurants so far Babylon was the best! Great food and the staff especially Aykut. He is my favorite very friendly and always makes you feel welcomed. Prices are very affordable. Do not hesitate to stop by you will not be disappointed!
(5)The Wandering J.
We visited this restaurant for lunch. It was pretty empty when we got there, but quite a few people came after us. We found a lovely table outside under the shade. The music was too loud, but they lowered the volume to acceptable levels without any problem. The food was delicious. We tried the Zuchinni panckaes, the Chicken Shish and the fish. All were excellent. The service given to us by the two waitresses from Montenegro and Serbia was fantastic. Friendly and helpful with a smile. We had Turkish coffee with the flan for dessert. All-in-all a wonderful experience. We would strongly recommend this place.
(5)Vito C.
"Very tender, juicy meats and crispy appetizers!" Lovely restaurant with great service in miami to get some delicious Turkish treats. I had the hummus with the fresh hot bread and the Kafte which were both great.
(5)Gianni C. U.
Great Seating options, Nicely cooked great portioned dishes, (Octopus, Liver, Sea Bass Recommended) Very good service. i highly recommend. Chef Ali is the best chef in town so its a great late addition to babylon family.
(5)Alex B.

5 to kickstart this very new restaurant... owner/host said it was 2 months old. I love turkish & middle eastern food in general. The place is large and nicely decorated, beautiful colorful lanterns on the ceiling. But I would say, if they had been around for 1-2 years. I would still give it a 4. ============================================= Entrees:: Fresh delicious Seabream whole fish, grilled. (I chose it to be whole boned so I could fillet myself) However, it can be filleted on your table by your skilled waiter :-) I love how their salad is clean, light, refreshing. Great pairing with fish. The other dish was a stew beef and rice. It was excellent, not heavy, or overly done. Wine: Nice pour. Tasty sauvignon blanc -Great finish with the best small cup of traditional Turkish tea!! Service: small hiccups, but overall fantastic. Wait staff are friendly & attentive, all the above Cost: Reasonable for both locals and travelers ============================================ Constructive criticism... aka my 2 golden cents Besides the food, the look and cleanliness of a bathroom MAKES or BREAKS a restaurant. Whew. I felt like I stepped into another restaurant's bathroom. They need to get on this pronto, especially to match the outside vibe of the place !! If I am not mistaken, waiters should have their own sections or something similar, not whomever they want to wait on. Beautiful belly dancers ASAP :-P

Great new Turkish restaurant on Washington Ave, at the corner of 6th street, in South Beach. This is a lovely place, large bar, indoor seating, outdoor seating, and a room that connects the outdoors with the indoors. There's also a private dining room that looks as though it might hold 20-30 people. But the food is the biggest reason to go. It's fresh, creative but familiar to those who like Turkish/Greek food, and reasonably priced. In two visits I've had the branzino, sardines, octopus, and several of the cold appetizers, three desserts, and one salad. My companion had one of the lamb dishes and declared it wonderful. Everything either of us tried was excellent. Prices are reasonable, both for the food, and--happily and unusually for South Beach--for the wine. The wine list is short but adequate, and it isn't overloaded with ridiculously expensive choices, as is so often true in this area. Altogether, two people can expect to spend for dinner, tip, and one bottle of wine, around $110 to $125. There's also a full bar, and they serve delicious raki. The waiter told us that the restaurant plans to add belly dancing in the future when they have an entertainment license, but even without that, this restaurant is well worthwhile for anyone who likes Turkish food in a stylish setting. I hope it stays around, for it's nice to have an alternative to Milos, a truly delightful but extremely expensive restaurant.
(5)Mariac C.
The restaurant very clean, great ambiance, waiters are friendly and best food is excellent. Definitely recommend the restaurant for a nice and romantic dinner or if you want to do an event.
(5)Alex B.
Good food and nice staffs. Sometimes it took awhile for the food to come out, but not a big deal. Outside seating is very relaxing. Come here many times and love the place. Good price and good location.
(4)Spade S.
Go there for the absolutely most outrageous gulag experience in Miami Beach. The food is barely ok, but be sure to thank the criminal and retarded waitstaff when they acknowledge your existence. Most importantly, be sure to hold your breath when you see the bill. They know how to intelligently pad the sum depending on how many drinks you have had and who you are with. In general ripped off customers are not likely to make a scene if they are sufficiently buzzed or in loving company. You will leave feeling raped and robbed, but they couldn't care less, since they are not really in restaurant business!!
(1)Shab I.
AMAZING! First off, our waiter was absolutely great. Sammy was so welcoming and gave us full attention and gave advice on what to order, since we were not familiar with Turkish food. The food was fresh and was so satisfying. In all honesty, I have never experienced such awesome service. Thanks Sammy for a great experience!
(5)James D.
Awesome food and service. Highly recommended
(5)Metin A.

We came across this restaurant while searching for a mediterranean restaurant in the area. Tired of eating typical American food during our 10 day trip to Florida, we were searching for a mediterranean restaurant in the area. We already had 2 wonderful dinners at Italian and French restaurant but the best dining experience on our last night in South Beach was at the Babylon restaurant. Sammy, our waiter, was very attentive and welcoming and quite honestly, we have never had a waiter who is more attentive than him before! Having never tried Turkish food before, he explained the menu thoroughly and made recommendations. Our kids had the chicken shish kebabs and they were happy with them except that they were hoping more rice came with the meal. My husband had the eggplant topped with beef and lamb. Since he is from Iran, we both thought this dish is more suitable as an appetizer, in half. I had the grilled beef and lamb meatballs and very happy with them. Reading other reviews, I wish I tried the roasted sea bass as Sammy suggested (I was hesitant at first since he mentioned that the fish is imported meaning not fresh local fish). We enjoyed the dessert of baked caramelized custard thoroughly (wish there were more) and the philo with cheese filling served over Turkish tea (offered on the house, with more refills - thanks!) It was Thursday night and they were pretty quiet but we were lucky they had a belly dancer and she performed for us for quite a long time. We were advised to stay away from the Ocean Dr restaurants and were happy we did. Christina T. Simi Valley, CA

Great ambiance, delicious food and good service. This is one that i'll constantly be returning to. Love the mixed platter so you get a little taste of everything.
(4)Bahadir A.
It is a pretty authentic Turkish&Mediterranean restaurant. Highly recommend. Their food is amazing, desserts as well. Also their service is great. You will be satisfied for sure with everything. It is not an expensive place with huge and tasty menu. You must visit while you're in SouthBeach. Thumbs up!!!

A 5 star rating is not enough for the great service we received this past week by Ahmad and Bahar. I went to Miami and by chance Babylon was the place of choice were I proposed to my future wife and I am glad it was. After coming back this past Friday for the second time, when I came to Bahar and told him I was going to pop the question he was very excited and went above and beyond to make this night a night to remember. The owner had a great idea to hide the ring in a fruit platter followed by a toast with the house champagne, if there was a night that we felt like royalty that was this night, thanks to the Babylon crew. The food is outstanding and the pricing as well. Great service good food making you feel you are special what more can you ask for, thanks guys I will be sure to visit next time I am in MIA.
(5)Ray C.
Originally we were a bit skeptical in so far as the authenticity of their spices and meal choices , but I must confess that we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the dining experience to the max... We chose to dine al fresco in the courtyard, which was an exellent choice. The knowledgeable and friendly staff bent backwards to make our experience a memorable one.. We are sure to return soon ! Ray C, Miami Beach
(5)Chasity S.
Fantastic! Ambiance: light and airy indoor seating with the most beautiful mosiac lighting to set the mood. The outside garden is the perfect escape from the south beach chaos; warm and inviting. They have evil eyes hanging from the trees that add character and give it that something extra aside from being just an outdoor seating area. It's all in the small details. Wheather you be inside or out you're comfortable and feel invited. Service: Everyone was extremely welcoming & attentive. Nothing but helpful & professional. Food: Authentic! I was in Turkey this past summer and had the privilege of having a home cooked meal and I can say Babylon is the most authetic Miami has to offer. I ordered the Beyti - so good! Bar: stocked & serving Raki!
(5)Mosleh a.
The food is very good bit the service is too bad. It is not only about food when we go to a restaurant, it's an experience.
(2)Raymond J.
I wouldn't order food from there if it was the last restaurant left on the planet. Food showed up it was ice cold, they forgot our pita bread, my wife called they said 5-10 minutes. A hour later guess who showed up ?, the pita bread. We threw the food out and called it a evening. I give them 4 months before they close. I'll never recommend them to anyone. Good luck Babylon.
(1)Nassim M.
Most delicious middleasten food in miami. A must try. Their kabobs were amazing. The meat melts in your mouth. Also their turkish tea and desert was yum. I will be here as often as i can. THE BEST.
(5)Aga B.
We were disapointed. They sat the two of us at the table for 6 people even though the restaurant was mostly empty. There was no music playing and took them half an hour to put it on. The nice wall with changing LED lights went dark after an hour, so the ambience of the restaurant was gone...the food and the selection did not impress me either. The only good thing was that our Serbian server was very sweet and the wine and Turkish tea were delish. Another mediocre Miami restaurant with no attention to detail, but charging like an upscale restaurant. What else is new...
(2)Pelin M.
So good! Authentic, delicious Turkish cuisine. Owners and staff are wonderful too. I've had a great experience every time I have gone - both with small and large groups. Also love the outside courtyard. Definitely recommend it.
(5)Stephi B.
The food is delicious! We had tzaziki with bread to start and we couldn't stop eating it. Then falafel like appetizer, and as main dish 1 kofte and 1 kebab plate. I couldn't finish my plate because of the generous portion but I took the rest to go 'cause it's so good. To end we got a delicious traditional desert. I can't emphasize enough that the service is amazing.
(5)K L.
This is the best dining experience I have had in a long while. The service was incredible. We felt like we've known our waiter for years and were having dinner at his home. His passion for the food was as though his mother was cooking in the kitchen herself- and for very good reason! All of his recommendations were on point. We started with a sampler of the dips and delicious fresh bread : Ezme, Humus, Haydari (personal favorite!), and Satsuka. We had to stop ourselves from filling up on the delicious starter. We then moved on to the Mucver (zucchini pancake) which was perfectly golden fried without being greasy, served with a creamy yogurt sauce. The superstar of the appetizers was the patlican dolma (stuffed eggplant). The ground lamb stuffing was so flavorful and moist, perfectly cooked. My boyfriend hates eggplant, but after one bite said this is one of the best things he has tasted, ever. After stuffing our faces with appetizers, we couldn't leave without trying the grilled meats and shared a mix-grill plate. The ground lamb and beef was moist and well-seasoned,and the chicken was so tender! Absolutely perfect. We finished with kunefe dessert. The cheese was so delicate and mild and paired very well with the sweet honey. What a great experience! We will be coming back regularly!
(5)Yoel G.
The place is nice but the design and the decoration remind me more of a Greek ambience over the Turkish . Service was just good, not the kind of service we used to in this type a restaurant. Kudos for our Serbian runner and the manager who did our stance more pleasured. Food was good but nothing to die for. Price is affordable, It is not expensive but maybe u pay more than u get. The best moment of the night was the bday celebration performance. Most of the good reviews of this restaurant are for lunch so maybe stick with a lunch time in this restaurant. Definitely this restaurant is good, but need a wow factor to make it a memorable occasion, a place to comeback or recommend to other. So, 3 starts for it.
(3)Ruben G.
Great VIP service in a great location. Nicely decorated with a beautiful outdoor seating area.. Delicious homemade food specially the yogurt soup was awesome. Really had a great time and will return.
(5)Randy B.
Decent food. Nice ambiance. A bit overpriced for the quality (no chicken breasts), so I guess you are paying for location. The bread was pretty good. I wouldn't come back for the food; I would come back for the environment to have a quiet meal with someone. They had a $5 sangria special going on which was pretty strong and tasty.
(3)Alex G.
Solid four star experience in a hip, European-style Turkish restaurant. We sat outside, for lunch, and it was a pleasant, relaxing experience. The dip combo platter was terrific, and they give you just enough of five or six dips to really try each one. The yogurt-based ones were especially delicious. They were out of the kibbe, so we had the eggplant stuffed with ground lamb; tasty, although a bit oily, but filling and well made. The chicken kabob with rice was flavorful, although as an American I'm spoiled by lean chunks of breast meat, whereas this was the true European variety -- more fat, more of the chicken itself, and a different "cut" than we are used to. Still, my wife and I enjoyed it and finished it all. The rice was the highlight, though, and it had an almost sticky, rich quality that tasted uber fresh. Overall, this is a solid place for a cool, modern Turkish meal in South Beach.

Went to this restaurant for the first time as a recommendation from someone in the area. Her claim was "this is the BEST Turkish restaurant in Miami." SHE WAS SO RIGHT! The atmosphere was friendly. The servers were so personable. At the end of the night, one of the owners came over and visited with us. If I lived in Miami, I would become a "regular" at this place. The prices are so reasonable...our entire experience was under $100.00 -- and that was appetizers, a bottle of decent wine, main course and dessert. A true gem!

The atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. However my favorite part was the beautiful belly dancer providing even more entertainment and culture. I look forward to going back again!

Great Turkish food and wonderful courtyard. I recommend the chicken kebab and kofte. We went a Saturday night and there was live entertainment for a little while which was fun but a little distracting if you want to have a quiet dinner with conversation.

We were delighted with this restaurant, which we stumbled upon while walking around the Art Deco district in Miami. The restaurant is beautiful both indoors and outside. There is a garden with a wall around it for eating outside (all tables had umbrellas). The inside had stunning lighting and ceramics. The wait staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. My husband ordered an eggplant dish cooked with yogurt and garnished with lamb and beef (Ali Nazik, I think) and I ordered a grilled Mediterranean sea bass, which came with an arugula salad and potato. The dinner also came with thick bread and olive oil. The restaurant was not crowded or noisy when we were there from 6 - 7 pm. Highly recommend this for couples or groups of friends wanting a restaurant with a fine-dining atmosphere without the fine-dining prices.

Food was good. Servers were very nice / clearly turkish and sweet. Lentil soup was very good. As was the arugula salad. The dolmas were underwhelming though. I would come back. Plus outdoor dining. Hope they make it.

This street is where all the locals dine, therefor we always have 2 favorites n same street and decided to try this fairly new one. We were skeptical at first as the place was empty but we had read great reviews. It started to fill up late though. We decided that each person order 3 appetizers and there were 4 of us so that we can try many things sharing style. The fried liver was large serving and tasty, we had stuffed eggplant, Fried Calimari done perfectly, they didnt have Kibbe that night, we had Fired Cheese, and many other things which were ALL delicious. It was a great way to try everything. We tried 3 desserts to one was Kunefe, it was shared and more interesting to discover that way. Everything was very good to excellent, the bread is a hit, specially with olive oil. I Cant enough great things about the wonderful staff, so different from South beach restaurants. the staff is the friendliest, nicest staff, willing to accommodate you in everything. I repeat all the things mentioned in all the other reviews about the wonderful staff, Oner, Marco, the girl from Serbia, you fell very welcomed and helped by many different people attending you.The patio experience is a must for the first time. Chosing the elegant interior should be tried out afterwards. This will be my new bi weekly restaurant and will try main courses next time.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night. We were really impressed with the ambiance and the decor! We ordered ezme, mucer (zuichini pancake) and the grilled mushrooms as an appetizer. All 3 amazing!! The ezme was good and spicy. The zuichini pancake tasted really fresh and the cheese on the mushrooms was delicious. For our main we got Ali nazik and beyti. The beyti was better than all I've had. And we eat a lot of Turkish food. (My boyfriend is Turkish) and the Ali nazik was AMAZING! Definitely must try it. Combined with good wine and excellent service babylon deserves all 5 stars.

Delicious freshly made food and a helpful eager to please (and beautiful) staff. Prices are very reasonable. The chefs appetizer is superb. This is very far from South Beach attitude.

A beautiful place with good-quality Turkish food. The service is impeccable, the outside garden romantic, even the house wine is very decent! We enjoyed our dinner very much and plan to return soon.

This is one of those places that you bring your closes friends. Great food and great service. The humus is great and you need to try them all. Wine with dinner was right on point. The baklava was so good, I took an extra order home for tomorrow morning. This is a hidden gem! Just opened 6 months ago and I can't wait for the belly dancers.

this has to be the best Turkish food in Miami. For appetizers we had the zucchini pancakes, calamari, soslu patlican, and For my main, I had the chicken shish, they were all excellent. I can't wait to go back.

Heard about this place from a server at another restaurant. She's turkish and recommended Babylon for good turkish food and I definitely am happy we tried it. Food was great and the place had a great look. Prices were good: 97 for two (that included a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, a mix grilled plate for 2, tea, and dessert). They said they were going to be having belly dancers soon too. Place is going to be great.
